Been stopping here since the late 1960. Last stop before cabin. Like any store you have to watch things. I never have recieved unfriendly experience. If you want that big city experience drive the 30 + miles to Neuman in alpena. Not to say neuman isnt great store. But who wants to waste time gas .
Clean, spacious full line grocery. On sight butcher, excellent choice of cuts. An entire aisle of craft brews and huge walk-in of chilled domestic. The staff really like working there, and it shows in the quality of my experiences shopping there.
If you are an antique collector, this may be the store for you, but if you want to eat, there is not much you are going to do with a bunch of rotted produce and food 3 years past the expiration date. LOL
Not very friend customer service. Food was mostly expired.... Found food 2 years past experstion date.
Tourists and travelers beware. What place that serves the public doesn't let an 8 year old girl use their restroom? I won't be shopping here when I'm RVing in the area again.
